Salsa Soul was created by Zia Tasker in an attempt to bring to life a professional, yet relaxed and friendly environment in which normal people can comfortably learn to dance. She has a long standing dance background having practiced dance in the forms of tap, modern and ballet from the age of three. In these disciplines she passed all grades and moved on to Latin dance with a need to express herself more individually. Whilst on her journey Salsa Soul has appeared in several newspaper articles and two magazines, the most recent featuring Zia's tuition of a competition winner in 'Glamour Magazine'. She also coached a london Classical Dance school when they included Salsa in a show performance.

Salsa Soul welcomes, invites and entertains a cosmopolitan blend of students. Believing that salsa and dance should be available and enjoyed by all shapes, sizes, cultures, nationalities, backgrounds and age groups. In short, Zia knows that the lure of the Latin flavour once sampled is absolutely addictive. Then when blended with a group of people who have come together as strangers and found (even if different in circles of life) like- minded, friendly people then one finds oneself amidst a unique social activity that releases a feel-good factor like no other.
